The 2019 World Beach Games officially known as the ANOC World Beach Games Qatar 2019 is the inaugural international beach multi-sport event organised by the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC). It is scheduled for five days, 12 to 16 October 2019, in Doha, Qatar, with the opening rounds for certain events being held on 11 October 2019, the day before the opening ceremony on 12 October.

Be sure to be prepared for some gruelling competition out on the water, its sure to be quite a spectacle and a rare treat for any residents of Doha to get such world class sport outside of the football arena!

As Qatar’s leading water sports provider, it is Sora Marine Training’s privilege to be supporting this incredible event. The event is set to see a huge array of activities coming to our shores, with Beach Volleyball at Al Gharafa Beach Volleyball Arena surely a great highlight!!

Perhaps the most dramatic event will be the Wakeboarding which we will obviously be on the very front row for on the 13th and 14th October in the Ritz Carlton Canal.

The  kite foiling is the other main sport we will be following with great enthusiasm as it is something especially close to our sailing hearts.

The 2019 ANOC World Beach Games will feature 12 disciplines in 11 sports. All of the events in this edition are non-Olympic events different from the Summer Olympic program and are gender equal.
